A prenda da família para o pai

A maioria dos projetos que faço gira em torno de biografias de família. Os filhos que dão aos pais. Os pais que dão aos filhos. A filha que dá à mãe. Os netos aos avós. O objetivo é sempre o mesmo: reunir em livro as memórias de uma família a partir de um personagem principal. Neste álbum em específico, o herói da família é o Artur, um menino que cresceu no seio de uma família modesta, em plena ditadura, mas que cresceu feliz, rodeado de amigos e familiares. Veio a tornar-se um empresário de sucesso e hoje divide o tempo entre as suas empresas espalhadas pelo Brasil, Moçambique e Portugal. É um homem cheio de energia e ainda bastante ativo. Foi a nora e os seus três filhos que resolvem homenagear o patriarca da família e recordar oito décadas de aventuras, altos e baixos, felicidades e tormentas. Foi a prenda da família no 80º aniversário de Artur Duarte. Que prenda única e original! Seria impossível elogiar e eternizar tamanha perseverança de outra forma. As próximas gerações nunca poderão apagar o que este homem fez por eles. Jamais alguém poderá negar os feitos e audácia deste português do mundo. Felicidades e muitos anos de vida!

Most of the projects that I do, revolves around family biographies. Those given by children to their parents. Parents who give to their children. A daughter that gives one to her mother. Or some grandchildren that gives one to a grandparent. The goal is always the same: to bring together in a book the memories of a family. This album in particular, the family hero is Artur, a boy who grew up in a modest family during the dictatorship, but who grew up happy, surrounded by friends and family. He become a successful businessman and now divides his time between their enterprises throughout Brazil, Mozambique and Portugal. He is a man full of energy and still quite active. It was the daughter in law and her three children who decided to honor the family patriarch and remember eight decades of adventures, ups and downs, joys and storms, in a beautiful book that I made. It was the family's gift for the  80th anniversary of Artur Duarte. What a unique and original gift! It would be impossible to praise and perpetuate such perseverance in a different and better way. Future generations will never be able to erase what this man has done for them. Never one can deny the achievements and courage of this portuguese of the world. Cheers and happy birthday!
